We needed a hotel room that was affordable nearby the Bare Dark Sky
This hotel was the only hotel within a close enough range, so we booked for one night.
The staff was supee friendly and helpful with directions and checking us in and out.
The room did NOT smell like or look like someone had smoked there, we had been to a few hotels that claimed they were smoke free, but we could smell freshly lit cigerettes in the room. This hotel was exceptional in having a smoke free room stay smoke free.
The beds were really comfortable, the pillows were really good, the blanket was warm enough to not have us grab our spare blankets for warmth.
The room was very clean.
Breakfast was good, almost your average hotel breakfast, waffle making machine, juices, oatmeal, eggs and sausage, milk, yogurt, etc.
Since we were on the third floor we didnt really hear any construction at all. Our sleep was good, was not disturbed at all.
Though when you first walk into the hotel, you can see the entire hallway that's currently being rennovated and smell the rennovation's wet paint and tools. I dont mind too much, as long as that rennovation smell didnt seep into the room we werw staying at. (Which it didnt.)
Parking is a bit tight at night.
But in all, it was a very nice stay and I'm definitely planning to come back with my boyfriend for another visit to Bare Dark Sky, some Asheville sightseeing, and this hotel will be the place I choose to stay the night again. :3
