I liked that hotel was in center of town close to restaurants, shopping & easy walk to market. Pool was clean & well kept. So many beautiful palms. I liked that hotel was next door to lovely outdoor cafe w/ great staff.

For the price of the rooms, I feel they could have been accommodated with comfortable beds. The beds felt like the box spring only. Simple memory foam mattress topper would help. No water available in the rooms made it uncomfortable to go out in the courtyard in your Jammies to fill up your water. Overall the renovations done to the from the building was nice to see, but landscaping has been abandoned for awhile dead palm leaves falling consistently. Dead plants amd leaves.

Location was perfect. Very cute boutique hotel. The pool area had many lounge chairs and I loved it being surrounded by lush plants. We will be back.

Lobby and pool area very nice upgraded and clean. Past that- the rooms are quite outdated, need upgrades (even a coat of paint), need more attention to cleaning. Our bathroom door and walls were grungy. Outside stair cases were not swept or washed. Our private balcony area dirty to the point of making muddy floors when you stepped inside your room. Note to smokers - there is a waiver you must sign that you will not smoke anywhere on the property.

Beautifully reno'd pool area (reception too but that won't impact your stay). Think the room reno must be delayed. A bit tired. Terrible drapes but I travel with an eye mask so no issue for me. While I was a bit skeptical, the bed was uber comfortable. Small roof patio with excellent ocean views sunset. Excellent location. Beach access is a two-minute walk away. The water was warm, clean and tourist-free. Had the space to myself. Great shops closeby like Martha Sanchez (amazing handbags and jewelry - great quality!); Bici Bikes is great for a tour on two-wheels.

This is a nice clean, basic place to stay. The room was a decent size with a king size bed. The bed was very firm. Which can be a blessing or not depending on your body. The kitchen was adequately equipped with a full size fridge and stove. it could have used a few more dishes, knives, cutting board etc but there is such great resturants near by you are likely to want to just enjoy the local food. There is a small but clean and well maintained pool. The room was dark as the entrance was from the patio and that was shaded. On the other hand, this helped to keep the room cool and meant you could sit outside on your patio. The cabinets and flooring were a little worn but overall, if you want clean, convenient and kind this is the place for you. if you want fancy, go elsewhere.

Excellent stay in Bucerias.
What can i say, from check in to check out, absolutely a wonderful stay. Older, mexican style hotel(which is what we want when in Mexico). Had a nice kitchen, with 4 burner gas stove, and a full size fridge and freezer. Comfortable big bed, 2 decks for morning coffee or, a night cap. One overlooking the pool and atrium style common area. And one larger deck overlooking the ocean with table and chairs. Good pool with lots of loungers and chairs with a few tables as well. Free use of sun umbrellas and chairs for the beach. Gas bbq in common area.alll good but what really sets this hotel apart from others is the staff. Cannot say enough good things about all of them. Friendly efficient ,helpful and professional. Will try to book in Hotel Palmeras again in the future.

location is perfect. Major renovation. underway and we should have been notified. Not a full price experience. Most of the staff spoke zero English so communicating was difficult. Lost all Old Mexico charm The facility is in very tired condition. Cleaning staff, in contrast was absolutely terrific.

Location was perfect. Staff were amazing. Due to new owners you will have no kitchen next year. Nothing came with unit like coffee, water, salt pepper ect. Coffee filters. Many long time annual guests are going to differnt sites next year. Too bad we would have gone back for sure.

Great staff, great location, quaint rooms. Unfortunately, they are in the midst of construction and never mentioned that when booking the room. Also, the Wi-Fi sucks unless you’re standing in the lobby

Hotel had no water… They never told us when we check in, that they didn’t had running water. Service was horrible, they never apologized. We left the hotel 2hrs after we check in, we were tired and we just wanted to relax but it didn’t happen… I will never be staying at this hotel ever.
