To start, everything is a one, not because some sections deserve a one, but because there is no way this hotel should be recommended to anyone other than those who secretly enjoy being ignored, bad service and/or ripped off. On the first day, housekeeping in cleaning the room, played hide and go seek with my medication. Searched my luggage twice in panic until I found them where housekeeping had put them. I complained and they didn’t touch them again. If that was the only thing fine. Then the dirty black sock under the wardrobe. Yes, I could have picked it up, but I was curious how long it would take them to spot it: 5 days. Every hotel in the world uses towel on floor fresh towel, hanging leave it alone. Not here; so much for the environment.
The lounge. Now, I like a dark room as much as the next photographer, but when you can barely see the table, let alone anyone else near you it’s too dark Service, pretty much non-existent. You had to go find them (easy enough they all stand at the end of the bar talking to each other (5 nights) of on their phones (2 nights) finally get that drink after waiting 15 minutes.
Checkout: 1st bill 1300, 2nd +/- 300,, 3rd 280 final bill 145 probably not; I just wanted to go. That the front desk was upset with me: hilarious.
My impression: staff feel that they are just to cool to actually work and the guest should just be grateful that they don’t get spat upon. Suggestion, with one exception, fire the lot and start over.
