Upon arriving, our first impression of the exterior and lobby was positive. It appeared to be a very nice, high quality hotel. However, things went downhill quickly after checkin. We arrived at nearly 5pm, but our room still wasn’t ready. The front desk staff made it sound like it was still being cleaned. So we waited for a while. I don’t mind waiting a bit longer for a properly cleaned room. But that is NOT what we got. Our room was filthy. We booked a two bedroom suite with a kitchen and just to list a few things: the handles on several upper cabinets were sticky with syrup, there was still bits of food stuck in the sink and disposal, every single door handle in the room was smeared with visible fingerprints, one bedspread was covered with long black hair and shorter hair - possibly pet hair. The only lighting in the bedroom comes from two bedside lamps, and one of them was blown out. There were food crumbs all over the seats of the chairs, as if the cleaning staff had not even pulled them out to check. We found candy crumbs on the floor in both bedrooms, large stains all over the chairs, carpets and sides of the bed from spilled drinks. The living area had two ottoman cubes on wheels. We opened them up and the inside contained the previous guest’s candy wrappers!!! Like 20 or more! The living area furniture was in total disrepair with rips, holes, and tears. I took pictures of everything.And the road construction on1604 goes on ALL night fyi. Positives: beds were comfy.
