Location is close to the airport en center. You can walk to the airport during the day, 5min walk. However after dark the area is not safe and many homeless and shady people occupy the streets. There are many restaurants in the area.
Service was not as aspected, some examples, roomservice entered our room after a small knock at 22.15
No excuse made.
We had dinner in the hotel, dont expect much of it, no menu available in English of Spanish. No eye contact with us. Had to ask for everything. Got the side order with our plate, we told the waitress, she looked at us and went away, not to return.
Another night there was no a la carte only buffet. This was not announced, the food cold, waitress made no eye contact or didnt smile. In stead she was no busy with the mobile phone.
General problem, also here English of Spanish speaking hotel staff is hard to find, which makes all communication difficult.
Service is slow, staff does not smile of make eye contact when they talk to you, simply they don’t care much or at all.
Roomservice, we got no new water so we called for new water and cups. Only water was delivered. Hoping that house keeping with change the cups the next day with cleaning, no unfortuntely, the same cups we used were still there.
I stayed in many Novotels everywhere in the world but this one is deep down at the bottom for service and staff.
