Deal........no deal
The B2 Hua Hin is a new hotel, certainly not a resort, with few to no facilities.
I stayed here for 2 nights, short after the opening, because of the atttractive rates.
I booked day by day, and on the morning of the third day I booked and paid another night.
Later that morning I received a phonecall, difficult to understand, but it was about the roomrate.
When I went to the reception, I was told the rates had changed as of today and I had to pay 50% more. Of course I refused, because the deal was done and the rate sheet presented earlier was still valid for several weeks. But now a new rate sheet was presented.
I asked to speak to the manager, who proved to be an incredible arrogant fellow, whose only contribution to the issue was repeating over and over that I had to understand his position, without the slightest atempt to understand mine. Of course I understood his position, but accepting it is a different thing. The solution he found was kicking me out of the allmost empty hotel. Hahaha!! It has been a long time since I had such an experience in a hotel.
I have to say that the reception staff stayed extremely friendly and apologised many times.
