1. While registering in on our first day, we asked whether the tap water in the hotel was drinkable. We were not given a clear answer. It could be simply an "yes" or "no". Instead, what we received were rude tongue-in-cheek facetious remarks: "if you feel comfortable with it", "don't know about the hotel's water filtering system", and "bottled waters are always sold in vending machines in the hotel". Thus they managed to ruin our mood from the first moment. You should train your reception desk for a more professional response. (Even the Holiday Inn Express reception was more professional and helpful. And, of course, they guaranteed the drinkability of their tap water.)
2. After a long day of hiking we came back to a room that was not cleaned. When we checked with the hotel, apparently, the reception desk had forgotten to mention at the registration that we needed to explicitly specify whether our room should be cleaned. They said they would do it the following day.
3. Who still uses bar soap any more in USA - as opposed to liquid soap - as hand soap in a hotel bathroom where there can be multiple guests? It is so unhygienic.
Did not expect the above experiences in a Hilton unit. So will think twice before booking one next time.
Only good thing about the hotel were thelittle guys managing the valet parking: they were prompt, cheerful and helpful.
