The power went out during our stay. Nothing they could control, but it did last over an hour before we decided to find a different hotel. The front desk employee was very patient and handled guests well keeping a list of everyone who was leaving to provide to his manager for compensation. Well one week later and we tried to collect our refund for the stay we didn’t have and the manager refused a refund stating it went against their cancellation policy. Upon reviewing the policy, they don’t refund cancellations after 4:00 pm on the day of the stay…but they weren’t able to provide electricity for us to utilize lights, tv, or air conditioning, so not only were we charged for an uncomfortable one-hour stay, but of course I had to pay for an additional hotel for us to find at 9:00pm.
