Nice hotel, very central, so no parking available, so best to consider how much the cost will be if you have a car with you.
Bedroom very comfortable, well insulated acoustics from street and neighbouring rooms. But hotel a few years old, so it's fraying around the edges ; shower thermostats not working very well, etc .. but overall a friendly and very well located hotel
Poor lighting. One of the lights failed during my stay.
Complex 3 lift system with confusing floor numbering. No access from room to street without steps. No breakfast before 08:00.
Fast check and efficient check in. The room was spacious and the bed itself was comfy. Mixed feelings about the pillows. A lot of wear and tear in the room. Damaged safe, stained carpet, tape on ceiling and around TV remote and hole in the the bath. All surfaces and bathroom appeared clean. Good for when not spending much time in the room. Couldnât hear much from outside apart from emergency sirens slightly which is to be expected.
Had a good stay. Down for the Oasis concert. Only thing I would say was disappointed with was the bar was shut by the time we got back just after midnight. Other than that service and staff all great and in a good location
The room was very small, the mattress was too soft (you could sink in it) and the pillows were not comfortable. The worst was the isolation: they gave us rooms on the 1st floor with window not isolated facing Portland St. which is a big avenue. I couldnât close the eyes the night because of the noise of the cars and buses. The window doesnât isolate the noise and the room neither as I could hear all the activity in the corridor. I will think twice on going again there for the price we paid
