The Good: The hotel was very clean, and of course the location is beyond perfect for Cubs Spring Training visitors—literally steps away from the ballpark. The room was well appointed, the bed was comfy, and the linens were very soft. There was ample parking, and the hotel was very quiet during our stay.
Things that could be improved: the in-room coffee was absolutely terrible, and the hotel does not offer on-the-go coffee service (even for a fee); coffee is ONLY available at the sit-down bistro, which was a bummer. Also, upon arrival, the room had a very strong smell from the cleaning chemicals used by housekeeping. The smell was so strong that it made my eyes sting, and my daughter felt the same way.
