I work in Blythe, and since there are more hotel rooms than people in the community, I have to rent a room 4 days a week. I've stayed at this hotel twice. The first time was mostly fine, though the employee made me feel a bit uncomfortable. The room was comfortable and updated, though the shower didn't have a way to stop water from spreading out on the floor.
On the second occasion, I had to wait 10 minutes outside for an employee to check me in. There was also no one at the desk for check out. The room had a smell, like someone smoked in it. It looked like something out of the 70s.
This isn't necessarily the hotel's fault, but there was a guy hanging out outside the rooms. I ordered food delivered and the guy stole my order. I saw him do it. He didn't seem like the type of person I wanted to try to get it back from. I can get a refund on the food, but I can't get the time I waited for the delivery back. It speaks to a feeling of being unsafe.
And since the management seems to reply to all reviews, "definitely" means "without doubt." "Defiantly" means "with open resistance."
