Not the best experience
I made a booking through hotels.com. I then received check in instructions from Dancenter, which is a holiday agent in Denmark.
As the booking was done through hotels.com I expected the stay to be fully paid, but when arriving at the property it was clear that on top of the hotels.com price I had to pay for electricity, water and heating. This was not explained on hotels.com.
Arriving at the property I discovered that there was no bedding, so I had to go to the local supermarket and buy bedding. This was not explained in the description of the property.
Walking through the house it was obvious that there had been some cleaning, but unfortunately this cleaning had been done some days in advance, so I found spiderwebs and dead spiders on the floor.
All in all, this is not what I expected when using hotels.com. Or at least, I would have expected the need of bedding and additional cost to be clear on the hotels.com website.
