Hotel canceled reservation
They canceled my reservation without notifying me! I booked on Hotels.com and chose the "Pay at Property" option. The hotel charged my card before I arrived, said it didn't work, and I received an email (at 2am) about 11 hours before check-in saying I had 24 hours to provide another form of payment. I sent a message on the Hotels App and they did not reply. When I arrived at the hotel for check-in, they said my reservation was canceled, and my room was booked. Even though they said I had 24 hours to provide another method of payment. They canceled my reservation before 24 hours, and did not ever send a message it was canceled. On the app, it said I still had a reservation. The desk clerk said the manager was out of the country. I had to book another room at a higher price because there were almost no rooms left in town. The Hotels.com customer service has reached out to the hotel and they refuse to honor my original price.
