I will start with the good. It is on a nice beach. It is walking distance to restaurants and the ferry. However, I would not recommend this hotel. It is old and shows it. The carpet in the hallways is filthy. I would not walk barefoot on it. The "balcony" in our room was very small, balcony furniture was not cleaned, and it is infested with tiny spiders. The screen door was busted at the bottom so that bugs could fly in and I requested a repaid to no avail. Housekeeping is not so great. They did not vaccuum and didn't clean the jacuzzi which had a dirty washcloth that we had used to clean the balcony. It rained one night and the balcony is covered but does not keep you dry. The balcony was soaked. We were given a room on the fourth floor but the elevator only goes to third floor. We were advised about this. The front desk staff upon check in raved about our room saying it was the best one in the place. If so, I can't imagine what the others must be like. There is a free breakfast but it is only 7a to 9 a. The one day we wanted to try it, at about 830 am, it was so packed we left. They need to extend the hours. I overheard someone say the Best Western is no so great either. I don't know which one to recommend, but it would not be the Hamilton
