We had a 2-day reservation but left in a day, we could not take the unhygienic condition anymore. The room was unclean (not even vacuumed before giving it to us), linen was not fresh, the tables/countertops were dusty, bathtub/room not cleaned well, the bath curtain was moldy ☹ There were stain on the walls, cushion etc. The service was late and needed follow-up a few times. I would not call it a five-star hotel, we booked an executive suite, were told we have been upgraded to their premium suite, if premium suite is like I described before, I am not sure what to say. Staff seemed aloof, and apologies seemed very superficial. I don’t have anything good to say about this hotel from this visit, unfortunately, and am posting some photos of the unhealthy conditions of the room.
It is not Taj/Tata/ Vivanta brand problem, issue is local to Vivanta Bhubaneswar alone since we received exemplary service at Vivanta Aurangabad where we stayed couple days prior.
