This hotel is situated at the south end of the Dead Sea hotels. Although it is not right on the beach, it is close enough for a short walk, and there is a regular shuttle as well.
The hotel sports a nice pool and excellent food, together
with nice amenities. At the same time, certain parts of
the hotel are showing their age and clearly need renovation. The downstairs hall, for example, had
water leaking from its ceiling during our stay, with some tiles even falling down to the floor due to the damage. Some of the common spaces had a rundown look to them (although others had clearly been renovated).
My greatest problems, however, came about when I tried to get a receipt for my stay. On my checkout day, I was told that it would arrive via email, but I never received it. Reaching the hotel to talk to someone human about this proved to be a monumental effort, as they didn't answer Internet messages and their phone systems would either close my call (after a *long* wait) or send me to a closed office. Indeed, I'm still waiting for a receipt, which I need for reimbursement purposes.
