This is a great place to stay if you're coming up from Rome, headed to Tuscany and points North. Short drive from FCO. Hotel is small but rooms are very clean and we had a very spacious accommodation.
Hotel has a nice pool and a restaurant. Breakfasts were not so luxurious, but included lots of fresh fruit and great croissants, lots of pastries, and hard boiled eggs. Dinners, however, were amazing and extremely reasonable. Bracciano is on a beautiful lake and the town itself has a castle worth a tour (very inexpensive), some great restaurants right near the castle, and probably the best Gelato shop we've been at in Italy (and we've been at many!).
You can also do day trips to lovely towns like Bolsena on your way to Tuscany.
Villa Clementina staff was superb-they'll go out of their way to fulfill any reasonable request. We will stay there again.
