The front desk staff was very accommodating and friendly. Our room was 10 out of 10. The breakfast was very good. We were on a road trip for a week throughout the south. Best hotel we stayed in. Also, excellent free parking garage. Unusual in Savannah
.
We arrived after work so it was about 8:15. We got checked in and the receptionist wasnât rude but not the friendliest. We got up to the room and settled in to find the tv not even powering on and half the outlets were unusable due to being painted over or painted and shifted. Very frustrating stay for $200.
First, construction going on that is not mentioned on Hotels.com. Second, states they have EV charging point on site, but was no where to be found. Front desk said they did not know if they had one, but there was a Tesla service center down the road. That was one reason i booked this site. Third, fire alarm went off at 8pm for about 20 minutes, then again at midnight for an hour. So much for peaceful sleep after long day at work.
We were unaware of the renovations upon booking, but much effort was made to avoid any problems by staffâŠ.Upon arrival the desk clerk was a bit standoffish and not very friendly, but did her job at any rate.
Several people making a lot of noise next to our room after midnight keeping us up all night. Air conditioning was so loud you couldnât sleep. Booked this hotel because it had a pool only to find out the pool was not even open.
