Overall, it was a nice day. The only downfall was the ice machine was broken and for somebody like me that has to have ice in everything, was a little disappointing.
My husband and I were looking forward to a one night stay but we had a family medical emergency and tried to cancel. Hotel said I would have to contact Hotels.com/Expedia. There is no way to cancelâŠonly a robot answering. Made reservation on 1-15-2025. Tried calling starting 4-22-2025 for several daysâŠstill only a robot answers. They have my $132.80 and I am out the money. Four other hotels in Michigan where we had reservations gladly and kindly allowed us to cancel snd wished our family a speedy recovery. A very sad situation. The manager at the hotel was very nice but insisted she did not have my moneyâŠso I had to keep calling Hotels.com with no answer and no sbility to speak to a human. Lynn
Great experience! The manager Rene was very helpful. Unfortunately their ice machine was broken but it did not affect us. My boy suggestion is that they really need a better sign on the road. It is not lit and is almost impossible to see at night. The placement of the sign is such that by the time you see it you have passed the entrance.
We traveled with a small dog that could fit under one of the very dirty beds. Garbage, popcorn, an old dog toy and book. The door in the bathroom had obvious damage from a large dog trying to get out. Scratches everywhere. Our window had a huge crack in it, windows did not open. Bedskirt was ripped, and sloppy. Upon entering the âhotelâ, we were greeted with a strong weed/pot stench and loud barking from the room where the people or person was enjoying their smoke.
