Awful, on my first check in attempt I was assigned a room with a man already sleeping in the bed. The front desk then assigned me into a room also occupied by someone else. We had to drive to Slave Lake.
Do not stay here
Upon check in we were informed that our non smoking 2 queen room was given away and our only choice was a king size for us to share or else take a smoking one. Then the person in the front let us know that he would have to take us to our room and open our door for us and we cannot have our own keys. They could not give us keys and we felt very unsafe. The breakfast was omelettes in a baggy in the fridge. Cold cereal and the waffle maker was peeling and looked unsafe to use. The hotel needs an upgrade for sure. I felt bad for the staff but im sure that 150 was too much to pay and they didnât do enough to make it right. Sorry Iâm not going back there.
Nice place to stay. Although no one came into our room to make bed or clean up at all . We went out at 8am in the morning and came back at 5pm. We let the front desk know about no one coming into room the next day and they thought that was not the way the hotel operates and the said.OH we had 30 rooms with people that had checked out?
Thought we would have got a better reply than that in a hotel that was the highest cost in High Prairie?
It was clean and quiet however we had a coffee maker in our room that was a single cup maker but they gave us the coffee sacks that would be for the full size coffee maker so the coffee maker we had made a huge mess because of it. We told the front desk in the morning that it exploded coffee everywhere. They said they would take care of it by the time we got back that evening. They did nothing. They said it was the wrong coffee packages for that maker so we asked for the right ones they said they didnât have any and gave us the same ones they already gave us. (The wrong size for that maker)
Toilet seat lid kept falling off the toilet.
Breakfast was just juice, apples oranges and 1 kind of muffin.
I heard from some towns people that they are new owners and they are trying to get it all fixed up but still have a lot to do
Our room was not serviced during our stay. We had to phone the front desk for towels and coffee refills and make our own beds. The tv didn't work the first day.
I wouldn't mind if it hadn't been included in the price. No discount was offered. Not acceptable.
