Authentic hotel, in the forest, with a very friendly staff. The common areas are beautiful, but the rooms are outdated. Because of the remote location, there's hardly any telecom network coverage and the wifi is only available in certain area's of the hotel. And not in your room. Overall, the suite was very large and was clean; except for the beverage stains in the curtains, at the walls and ceiling, to top it off with a dead fly at eye level at the glass sliding door to the great balcony.
Unfortunately there was a wedding, which compramised the quiet enviroment, especially on our balcony in the late evening.
The pool is good, but the outside area really needed some maintenance.
The menu in the restaurant was simple and expensive, but the but meals we've had were very tasteful.
This hotel needs some improvements to be a 4 star hotel.
