We love staying a at StayBridge . This was the first time to be unhappy. We where there 8 days and they made the bed and cleaned the room 1 time. And I had to find a housekeeper there and ask for it to be cleaned.
The hotel was overall fine - no frill or anything exciting but we enjoyed our stay. The rooms were comfortable and it was an overall nice hotel for a family stay.
In town for a quick 2 day weekend with a friend. Picked the handicapable 2 bed suite.
The room was gigantic with plenty of space to lounge and spread our stuff out. Kitchenette looked solid but we didn't cook so can't comment on that.
The beds were extremely comfortable and the bedroom AC vent provided ample ice cold air for quality sleeping conditions.
The only two downsides were that the bedroom did not have overhead lights, only a small table lamp, and the bathroom shower assembly was quite subpar compared to how nice everything else was. The rest of the bathroom was just fine, though.
Finally, everything on the 1st floor is great. Spacious workout area, ample pool/hot tub room, extremely large dining area and lounge, and breakfast was a good variety with all of the continental breakfast staples.
4 of us shared a 2 bedroom suite to celebrate a 60th birthday and it was perfect for that occasion. Clean, spacious and comfortable and in an easily walkable neighborhood, Staybridge of Des Moines helped make my friendâs birthday extra special.
