Our GPS in the rental car wasnt working properly, so finding the cottage was a bit tricky to find, but once we did, oh my! What a great little place! Right on the water, with spectacular views- sunrise on the North Sea. The owner was easy to reach by phone and email. The cottage was well-equipped with everything we needed.
The cottage and view are amazing. We only stayed one night, however, it was my favorite stop in Scotland. The views are breathtaking. The cottage has everything you might need. Local was remote, which we wanted. The wifi and television worked great. I only wish I could have stayed longer!
Well maintained fisherman's cabin. Nice location and good parking. Nice for people who care about history. We had a little trouble getting it warm enough.
Staying at Pew with a View for two nights was one of the highlights of our month trip to Scotland. It is a beautifully renovated 1600s cottage/boathouse on the North Sea. The cottage is very comfortable and has everything that you need. It is so peaceful and calm with access to the ocean. It is very well located near Fraserburgh, with its great National Lighthouse Museum. We loved watching the ocean at night with the 'newer' lighthouse beacon. We hope to return and spend more time at this cottage in the near future. Pure heaven.
Gorgeous, old home in a small Scottish village. Well, maintained and very comfortable. It does sit right and I mean RIGHT off the road (like 2-3 feet) so if you're a light sleeper this may not be for you. However, the views are unbeatable and it's peaceful and very homy. We loved it! It had everything we needed and was great!
