Beautiful property and grounds, but has started to show wear and tear, which is a shame - because it really is a lovely hotel.
Private View from my room was a blind wall, while there was a good view of the lush garden from entrace door. The issue is, opening the curtains to get this garden view will limit your room privacy. So not very practical in design. Rooms are quite spacious however.
Ordered ala carte meals, and their service could improve in terms of time and also getting the order-notes correct. They had twiced missed the very simple instructions/ requests I had made. Food could improve in taste too, for the price they charge. The next-door-Jetwing Lagoon offer better meals at a better price.
Staff were friendly, decent and welcoming.
Overall, can recommend and may return myself, but with hesitations.
