Short notice booking, very friendly staff and I was upgraded to the suite on check in. Dinner was excellent as was breakfast. Room was large, bed very comfortable and the shower was excellent.
Nicer than I expected. Nice outside sitting area by the river, would be lovely in summer. The room was nice and well fitted out. Iâd definitely use again
Not as nice as I was expecting. My view was over the car park. The manager pointed out that Expedia customers need to stipulate if they want a river view. For ÂŁ145 I thought Iâd get one but he said that was cheap for Exeter. Other observations:
Not double glazed - just an extra piece of glass that didnât cover the whole window.
Wifi insecure
Parking - no notification that there was private parking for guests, which is important I think, as I parked in the crowded pub car park.
Multiple power outages
Toilet flush issues
Given wrong wine. French sav said was given but second waiter said hadnât had for ages. Staff seemed a little clueless.
Breakfast menu not very clear or priced showing juice/ tea coffee were extra but food itself was good. Continental breakfast poor if later than 9am.. maybe very hungry clients ate most of it early. Situation on river with gardens excellent. Overall a pleasant place to stay.
Really enjoyed our stay.
Olivia, in the restaurant, made us feel very welcome and was very attentive. Lovely food.
Reception staff could be more welcoming.
Mill on the Exe is a lovely pub and hotel ⊠very quaint but lovely rooms. The only problem was that the bed was surprisingly small in lengthâŠ. It was wide enough as a King Bed should beâŠ. But not long enough.
