The was ok. I didn’t spend much time in the hotel and primarily used it just to sleep. There a bit of a smell to the hotel but I assume that it was just because it’s a very old building. There was also no step free access so if you have mobility issues or a lot of heavy luggage I wouldn’t recommend. If your planning short stay and don’t mind a lot of stairs then this might work for you.

Comfortable stay
Quick and easy check in. Hotel a bit dated and very warm in the corridors, however stay was very comfortable and had everything we needed for our short stay. Location excellent and close to everything.

Was good fun would do it again
Good location, 24 service so you can go and enjoy the nightlife. Don’t remember coming back a couple of nights but I woke up in the bed safe and sound. Went just to experience Dublin. Bar downstairs open till 2:30 each day but not too noisy from hotel room.

Good value for money
Good enough if you're looking somewhere central, very loud at the weekend but over all perfect if you're not planning to be in the hotel often.

One bed was concave, another lumpy and third one you sank to box spring. Coils of springs popped out when you moved. My make up brushes went missing. When I complained they suddenly found them in the trash.. very suspect! It was like staying in a low end Motel 6 in the states. Never again.

Tiny bathroom, old building charm
The hotel and room were really cute, and the decor was kind of quirky. The noise from the bar next door and the street was very audible, though. And the bathroom was the size of a postage stamp - you had to sit sideways on the toilet.

It at all as depicted in the website. Dingy, dirty carpet as you arrive. First attendant was rather surly. Couldn’t stay there and had to find other n accommodations.

The staff were wonderful. However, the room smelled like mildew. There was no vent in the bathroom so you could smell that the door was shut for a while with the dampness trapped in. There is no AC in the hotel so you have to keep the windows open all night. The noise on the street kept me up. This hotel has potential to be a 4 or 5 star but it needs to be updated.

Would definitely stay again
From the outside and hallways no it doesnt look great but the room was big, clean and had everything we needed. More milk tea and coffee you normally get other places. The staff were excellent .. very friendly and helpful. If you have mobility problems then no dont stay here as there are stairs and no lifts and it is loud from bar downstairs but doesnt bother me, great location ... would i stay again?? I absolutely would and will thank you

2/10 Poor

The hotel is in a good location to the shops and plenty of bars, however the outside is very run down, reception is on the 1st floor so you have to walk up stairs and then yr greated by someone with a desk and chair. Not much of a hotel reception. The room we were giving was on the 2nd floor so more stairs to climb.. they had no lift and this room was for my dad who is 75 with a stick so he had to stop a few times to catch his breath and steady himself. The room was small and basic. It was also warm but if you left the window open all you could head was the crowds of people in the bars and on the streets. Would I recommend this place .. NO. It was expensive for what you got. Very disappointed with the hotel
