We've stayed at this hotel a couple of times in the past. We travel as a family of 4, typically for softball tournaments in the area.
We booked a 2 queen suite through hotels.com (Yes...I realize that there are drawbacks when you book 3rd party...especially when it comes to customer service from the hotel). We arrived in the evening (9 PM) of our arrival date. A young man named Keith was working the front desk. Unfortunately, there was some sort of problem and my reservation was no where to be found. Through some pretty great teamwork, Keith and I were able to get the confirmation number and he was able to see where my room had actually been given to someone else earlier in the day. They only had one room left, and it was a standard 2 queen. Keith saved the day with a nice discount on the room (not huge, but enough) and a great apology.
Unfortunately, there were boogers smeared on the headboord/walls of room, old smelly leftovers in the fridge, and loose/damaged trim in the bathroom.
The room served its purpose as a place to sleep for a couple of nights. But with other options in the area that are similarly priced, might be worth a couple bucks more to try out some of the competition.
