Overall Fine, some features need updating
I stayed at the Pullman Auckland for a period of 20 nights. Upon check-in room availability was limited and I was put in a room on the 5th floor for which the carpet was simply dirty and needed replacement. Little annoyed by a comment of one of the male receptionist but the other staff was very professional and secured me a room on a different floor with newer carpet etc. which was fine.
Overall space in the room was good and the bed was nice (not a big fan of the pillows as they were too soft for me). The Bathroom however was a bit of a pity as the shower was in the bathtub which was very narrow. As a result I was unable to put my feet in a flat position showering (also the shower did not have a thermostatic tap).
The hotel has built an extension with apartments to it which resulted in blocked views for lower numbered rooms as well as exposed views into the room from the balconies of the apartments.
The hotel pool and gym facilities are nice and highly recommended.
Overall I would rate my stay as fine, staff was friendly and house keeping keeps the rooms really clean and tidy (my compliments).
