Horrendous! Formal complaint filed!
Booked a non-smoking room only to be given a smoking room with a broken tv. Went back to the front desk to get a non-smoking room. The replacement room was not even within legal compliance as it had no smoke detector. It also had no hot water, which was never resolved during our stay. The replacement room was also dirty and cheap. The bedding was thin and flimsy. In addition, the booking was suppose to include breakfast but upon arrival was told due to construction there was no breakfast. There was no communication or modification on the booking description to indicate this prior to arrival. During the stay, the power went out and was not restored prior to checking out. This was a horrendous stay and experience. A formal complaint was filed as well. This was the worst stay ever experienced and the second stay booked through this app where advertised included amenities were not provided. Not only has all trust in the LaQuinta chain been destroyed but we are also getting to the point of losing trust in this website/app. I would no longer recommend using this site/app to book rooms after this experience and our experience last month with another hotel.
