Prior to booking, I phoned hotel to inquire about parking for a 15' moving truck and was assured that parking lot could accommodate the truck. Upon arrival, the parking lot was full and there were no spaces available for moving truck or my vehicle. The front desk clerk rudely stated that I was not informed that they could accommodate the moving truck and that it would need to be parked at shopping center across street from hotel. I replied that I had phoned two weeks prior, and the friendly person who answered the phone assured me that it would not be an issue to park moving truck in hotel lot. She replied that she would cancel our reservation, but I informed her that we travelled 13 hours to reach this destination and it was 9pm. She then changed her attitude, and found an area in parking lot where we could park the moving truck. However, there was no space for my vehicle, so she stated I could park in handicapped space. I appreciate that she assisted, but the hotel doesn't have adequate parking space. The designated spaces are too narrow to accommodate standard sized vehicles, so most vehicles were crossing the line in adjacent parking space. There was a truck with attached car trailer parked sideways across 6 parking spaces, and other moving trucks and large vehicles parked in the same manner. The parking lot was quite the cluster f***! Room was clean, comfortable, and we loved the soft pillows, but water flow was extremely loud when adjacent rooms used showers.
