Great stay at Sotetsu!
The location was best especially because I was travelling with elderly so it was easy for them to go around as the hotel is right in myeongdong street. What I loved most of all is the service. On our last day, we couldn't go out because it was raining hard but they helped us had our food delivered from the restaurant. Also loved that they had free coffee in the lobby.

This corner room was so small you had to turn sideways to get around. Bath tub was too high and difficult to get in. Do not buy the breakfast option, it is not at the hotel, they give you a voucher to take to a cafe, and the choices are mostly not available.

This hotel is pristine. It is a small room which is typical of Seoul hotels, however it has just about everything you need in the room. The hotel smelled so nice, I bought their diffuser to take home. More pros: It is at the center of Myeongdong, which Myeongdong is the center of Seoul. It is an easy location to get by almost anywhere. I booked the hotel last minute and price was still reasonable. Whenever I visit Seoul, I will stay again.

We liked the location and the cleanliness of the room. It is in the middle of Myeongdong shopping street and food night market. There are many restaurants in the area. However, the standard room is very small and the breakfast is not in the building. I chose this Japanese brand due to the high standard of Japanese culture but the breakfast is far away from the hotel. I’m waiting for my partial refund but it is being delayed by Expedia despite of my reply to Expedia with the proof of my payment. The Expedia recipient's mailbox is full and can't accept messages. Thankfully this hotel has very good service by the staff at reception desk. Thanks Sotetsu Myeongdong. We enjoyed Seoul.

Stayed here twice and I can only recommend it if you wanna be in the center of Seoul in Myeongdong street. The Hotel is situated close to the Myeongdong cathedral and the streetfood vendors. The hotel Lobby upstairs is cozy and the hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms are comfortable and offer everything you need for your stay. You can walk to Myeongdong station which is a 8-10min walk. Unfortunately they do not offer breakfast. If you are adding a breakfastplan be advised that you will get breakfast vouchers for local restaurants in the area like Isaac Toasts.

I booked a room with a double bed as a solo traveler The service was excellent, from front desk to housekeeping. If you are traveling with a suitcase larger than a carry-on this probably isn't the best place, since there is no storage space whatsoever, and clearance around the bed is not enough to open a full sized suitcase. Shower was also very tiny, but if you are a solo traveler then it could work for a couple of nights. I dont know how more than one person could stay in this room though! Location was excellent, in the middle of the main shopping street.
