This was a really horrible stay for us. The first night we got there, one of the elevators was broken so it took about 15 minutes just to get up to our room. When we got to our room, the door was broken and we werenât able to lock it. Instead of giving us a new room, we had to wait for maintenance to come up and show us a temporary fix to lock it for the night. They ac was SO LOUD in our room and didnât seem to be working. There was no room service while we were gone all day on Saturday so we came back to no towels and an unmade bed. The whole place was humid and had no air. I would definitely not recommend this hotel for the price.
The stay was okay overall, but it didnât feel worth the price. Unfortunately, we were woken up multiple times during the nightâaround 1 and 2 AMâby loud shouting. I understand thereâs an open area for guests to socialize, but the noise echoed through the hotel and made it difficult to sleep. Implementing quiet hours would really help improve the experience for those who are trying to rest.
It was ok. Windows were dirty and spiders all on the outside. Not the view I was expecting. Bathroom shower door kept opening and water went everywhere. Lights on the bed did not have an off switch.
Air didnât work in the room 229. Bathroom dated but bed was comfy if you like sweating in 75 degrees. Went to use the microwave downstairs in the morning and the handle was greasy. Three counters to check in but lucky if even one was open. Fountain needs a good cleaning.
The only thing I liked about my stay was the Lobby. My very first time ever staying at the DoubleTree. My Anniversary Weekend, and I didnât enjoy myself. I even checked out a day early because I just couldnât believe how bad my stay was. When me and my husband got settled we noticed that the room was warm. Maintenance came up right away, they couldn't get the air conditioner to come on so they gave us another room. I stayed in the room a good two hours because I had to go to work that evening ( 3rd shift 10:30-7:00 am) give or take I laid down at 8 am. Woke up at 10:30 am in sweat. The room was 71 degrees, I was just done because now my hair has sweat out and now my hair is ruin for my dinner that evening. So I got a good 2.5 hours of sleep. And the bed was hard, maybe Iâm just use to how comfortable my bed is and my house stay at a good 68 degrees. As much money as I spent to try and get out and enjoy our Anniversary weekend. I couldâve just stay home in an air conditioned home with a soft bed. And at 11 am I just packed my things and checked out. The manager couldnât even come out their office to talk to me and my husband about how bad our stay was. And going to send the associate out to tell us we wonât be charged for our second day. Um ⊠I better not Iâm not even going to be here. No apology. I shouldâve read the reviews. Plenty of complaints about the air conditioning. I was so miserable and tired with only 2.5 hours of sleep.i wonât come here again
Weve used this hotel many times. This past stay we noticed that the room was very dark. The only light provided was in between the beds and a desk light.
