Upon arriving, we found that our first room did not lock properly. The door was opened as we arrived as well. We had difficulty with the key, and even the night manager struggled to operate it. He suggested we leave our belongings in the lobby if we wanted to go out, which immediately made us feel unsafe. We expressed our concerns to him and requested to cancel, but he informed us that he could not assist and that we would need to contact Expedia directly. After reaching out to Expedia, we were moved to another room.
Unfortunately, the refrigerator and the TV in the second room were both not working. The door lock was also not working properly. We attempted to cancel again, but had difficulty getting in touch with the main manager. We are still waiting for approval on our cancellation. Our neighbors next to us also struggled with their key and were told that several people were struggling with the key.
