They werent accepting bookings they stated we shouldn't of been able to book couldn't get my money back they were under construction it was awful the room smelled the first room the sink wouldnt drain so we had to move it was awful and we left early
I was not happy with the noise they were making while I was trying to sleep. They are remodeling the hotel and need to plan the repairs during the day when people are not sleeping. Everything else was fine.
Booked through Hotels.com. Mix up with reservation. Hotel desk clerk was very rude and unfriendly. Wouldnât look at email confirmation, told me wasnât her problem and there was nothing she could do. Dismissed my questions and offered no assistance. Horrible attitude. While in lobby another guest tried to check in and she had the same short rude attitude with him and again offered no assistance. She should not be dealing with the public.
We stayed for our anniversary and have stayed here several times, but the hotel is getting run down. Old shower, old light fixtures and blown light bulbs. The elevator was not working upon arrival, so we were out on the first floor. The desk clerk that checked us in did not tell me about checkout time, or what time breakfast was each morning like they normally do. It was a good stay, but the hotel seems to be going down in quality.
Long list of failures. Noisy a/c wall unit, thin wall, hear next room over tv. Door handle broke in room. Chair handle damaged in room. Dirty shower, missing shower hooks on curtain, water damaged poorly patched ceiling in bathroom. Breakfast extremely sub par and bad. Minimal food selection to choose from compared to web site pictures. Poorly repaired and still visibly damaged walls, ceilings, and doors throughout hotel. Staff is new including manager, offer no recourse, except they will talk to owner to get approval to improve.
Room smelled of mold and mildew. Visible mold in shower. Metal table lamps corroded. Nightstand had cigarette burns. Room was not cleaned between nights. No clean towels were delivered. Had only on cart for whole hotel. Carpet, floors and outlets damaged. Way below Marriott standards.
I arrived after 10 pm. I was tired and not feeling well and there was no one at the front desk. There were other guest that came and left while I was waiting for staff member to return. Once they did return the room I had reservation was no longer available after I had paid. The staff put me in another room after several minutes more of delay. The room was clean the bed was comfortable. I was just disappointed with the front desk.
The room was nice except the bathroom door was not closing and the bath tub was having pink mold at water drain area and the AC heater setting is not working properly, we had to keep it at around 62 for 72.
The hotel is obviously under new management. The bathroom had cracked tile that was very obvious. We had to ask for more towels and a sheet and blanket for the sofa bed. My family and I usually eat breakfast at the hotel, but this time, we had to spend extra money because the breakfast was horrible. There was a limited selection and the eggs were always dried up and old looking. We have stayed at this particular location at least 4 times and it has changed so much that we can no longer spend our money to stay at this hotel. Very disappointed.
