There was a " will return at ___ time" notice on the front door and it was locked. Luckily I came upon reopening but I don't think I've ever been to a hotel that does this, which is worrisome since people can be arriving at any time. Room was fine in terms of cleanliness. Shower didn't get that hot, it was barely hot enough to not feel cold. Heater was funky and kinda worked but didn't at the same time. Pretty important when it's cold and there's minimal covers on the bed. Overall, left a bad taste in my mouth. That was enough to realize I definitely don't need to come back.
The room itself was clean and comfortable - I got a 2 bed room. It was advertised as queen beds but they were full beds.
It took me 30 minutes to check in because the staff wasn't very aware of what do to. She said I was lucky I got there when I did because she was about to go on break. She said she had worked there for years but there was an issue because she had never had to check-in someone with a service dog. Also she complained that I booked an accessible room and if and handicapped person needed a room, it wouldn't be available. But rooms are pre-booked so how would that even be a problem? Not comimg back just to never have to deal with that person again. Unprofessional and incompetent.
When I arrived to the hotel at 8 pm, the front door to the hotel was locked with a chain and there was a sign saying they would be back in a half hour. After hours of traveling after expecting the 24/7 front desk service, this was really upsetting. In the morning, I tried to stop in at 7 am to get the wifi password and the lock was there again!! The sign said they would be back at 6 am, so it had been locked for a long time. The room itself was reasonably nice and clean, but being locked out of the front desk service twice made me never want to stay there again.
I didnât stay. The staff was rude, offensive, mocking. When I arrived I saw someone entering a red suv, didnât say anything to me even watching me take my bags out the car. I get to door and locked with sign to return. I text chat expedia. Expedia calls the hotel and the woman leaves the suv to answer the phone. She unlocks door and has a super long face so I said expedia texted me they called was that them on the phone? She gave me attitude, I said I texted them as Iâve never showed up to a locked hotel and wasnât sure what to do. She spoke to me like a rude angry mom would talk to a kid and said Iâm all alone here. I just couldnât stay where thereâs only 1 female employee the whole night and she was so rude. I said I canât stay here with your attitude and she said youâve already been charged and canât get your money back and laughed.
It a not a nice location , the first room they gave us was on the back side that backup to the freeway , there was a not so nice smell like a dead animal coming from the bushes .. requested a new room . Second room was ok , but there was a group of guys sitting in a truck smoking pot in the parking lot .. charged to much $$ for what you got . Will not stay again ⊠The girl at the desk was very sweet and gave us a new room supposably the last one she had but yet the parking lot never looked as if the hotel was full ..
