Accommodation is basic but well equipped. It was a bit dated but clean. Towels / bedding all very good and bathroom the best room!
TV signal still seems to be intermittent- annoying when you have children.
The little cottage was cozy and a welcome place to come back to after a day of walking around gorgeous St Andrews. The location right across from Kinness Burn was lovely and it was just a short walk up the slope to the main town or over to the university residences where my daughter was staying. Very comfortable bed and updated bathroom. The kitchen was a bit tight for space but sufficient for vacation cooking.
The property is a bit tired and has a number of arguably minor issues but is definitely not as good as weâd hoped based on other reviews. Location is very good for town centre but the pictures of the rooms are certainly better than reality. We had problems with the TV which didnât receive a signal 3 out of the 4 nights we stayed. It seemed to be linked to poor weather but having reported the problem nothing was done to fix. Expensive for the quality of the property
