Amazing Locale!
Amazing stay as always. And, because I stay there so many times, they left a beautiful box of chocolates on the kitchen counter for me with a personalized note. Thanks again Locale! I love it here, and will likely only stay here when I’m in Philly for my business trips. You get an entire loft apartment for the same price, and most times less than the price of, a one-room hotel room. Amazing deal! You can’t beat it.

Good property overall!
The building was quiet, clean, and very convenient to restaurants and even a grocery store (Aldi is a block away). I would definitely consider staying here again. My only complaints are (1) snow removal and (2) the shower water pressure. (1) During my stay, Philly experienced a snow event. It wasn't anything major, about 4-6 inches of snow fell. My complaint is that no one from the building or property bothered to shovel the sidewalk or put down any salt beforehand in front of the building, which allowed the snow to become trampled down and become a sheet of ice. This made it hazardous for those of us staying at the property to enter and exit the door. (2) The shower was enormous, however, the shower pressure left much to be desired. Imagine showering under the spray of about 5 water pistols from Dollar Tree, that's the best way to describe the water pressure. Overall, I had a good stay and hope whoever manages the property (1) does a better job with snow removal in the winter and (2) fixes the water pressure.

This place was fine, but the smell, oh wow. You walk in the first area and the smell of air fresheners smacks you in the face, then the elevator smell like they are trying to cover up cat pee, and the apartment smelled like terrible BO and old curry that is sitting on the stove. I also know this is a problem here, because others have complained. I will never stay here again or recommend to others.

I got a Surprise Upgrade!!
And another amazing stay at Locale North Philadelphia. I believe this is my fifth or sixth time staying here. And because of that, I got a wonderful upgrade. I originally booked the premium one bedroom, but upon arrival, when I entered the unit, I immediately realized that I got an insane upgrade to the two bed two bath top floor corner loft!!! Amazing views!!! I was also welcomed by a lovely note from Locale and a box of chocolates which I inhaled (don’t judge me, LOL). Thank you all so much, that was a very very nice and totally unexpected surprise. Oh, and did I mention the views of Center City Philly?? Stunning. Thank you all again, that was very nice!! I really appreciate it.

The unit looks fine and austere, but a very weird odor persisted in the apartment and getting stronger in the corridor and the elevator. Really annoying and nauseous for someone having higher nasal sensitivity. Also the traffic noises, especially from motorbikes, were so loud that they constantly interrupted sleep deep into the night... Feeling the quality of rest generally low

Area seemed sketchy and unsafe. People hanging outside the door. I tried to message on Monday and it’s now Thursday and no response about a complaint I had which led me to leaving this review. Day of check out which is at 11:00 and this was 9:00 am while in the shower a female kept banging on the door like there was an urgent situation , repeatedly knocking hard on the door till I got out of the shower wondering what was going on , didn’t introduce herself just thought we had left and said “sorry” they obviously watch and thought when we went out earlier that morning that we were gone. Water pressure was also horrible, bed was hard. No communication.

The best place to reside if you are staying longer in Philadelphia since everything you may need are all walking distance no need to drive then have to find parking.! A no fuss place, easy to check in and out and the BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Had an amazing 2 month stay! Thank you

Was visiting Philly for a conference. Location was ideal and walkable to the conference, grocery store and most everything needed. The apartment itself was nice and comfortable but the building overall wasnt as pleasant. There was an infestation of nats and flies and a horrible aroma wafting through the building. Check-in was also a nightmare. Stood outside for a total of 45 mins trying to get in with the code that was provided to me only to find out that i never completed my information with Locale because i never received an email. Not ideal to be standing out on a busy street corner with luggage and purse trying to access your unit.

In the best corner location to one of the main street. No hassle in checking in and out. Easy & quick to communicate with customer service via text message. Large units with everything you need for your stay. Large windows to receive natural light. Coded entry to the building and unit. Also has a large elevator to accommodate alot of luggage and guest. I would suggest to request a 3rd floor unit facing the back directly from Locale if you are staying longer since it has a view of trees because there is a small gated park at the back and the tops of a temple, church steeple and an art center that at night some are lit up and watching the sunrise are all a beautiful sight to experience, it adds to your wonderful stay at Locale. Based on my 2 month experience, I wish there are more Locale in every state I visit!
