Pineapple Beach Resort Review
I had a great time at Pineapple Beach Resort! It was quiet and relaxing, though my mom would’ve preferred more music.
Our room was spacious but had an awkward layout, which made it feel less appealing. The toilet seat was dated, and the room could use some renovations, but it was still comfortable overall.
The first night at the buffet wasn’t great, but the food improved every day after that! The Christmas Eve dinner was a highlight with delicious local dishes like curry goat, oxtail, and jerk chicken. The Italian restaurant was my favorite, with the Caribbean one also being tasty. However, we didn’t enjoy the seafood restaurant at Verandah, the sister hotel. The food wasn’t great, and there were lots of roaming cats, which made us uncomfortable.
The staff were kind, though a bit serious, which might be cultural.
As someone from the Caribbean, I felt right at home. The beach was beautiful, though the water was a bit cold in December. I booked an amazing tour with G-man at the beach. My mom and I visited English Harbour, Shirley Heights, a Caribbean-side beach, and a local restaurant. It was one of our favorite parts of the trip!
I wasn’t crazy about The Outhouse (a lunch spot), but others seemed to like it, so it’s a matter of preference.
Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and would recommend this resort!
