Expensive, for our meager retirement budget, but we needed a nice place to rest our heads.
Your breakfast was fine, but would have liked some plant based milk for the oatmeal and maybe addition walnuts, seeds, etc. to add to the oatmeal. Plant based breakfasts in motels are sometimes a challenge.
Night light in the bathroom was pathetically dim!
Then, there's the shower head above the bath tub. It was so high to adjust water flow.
My 85 year old husband balanced himself on the side of of the tub, hung on to the tub bar, reached over and adjusted the miserable stream of water squirting out of the center of the shower head. Scary move!
Sign on mirror suggests, to save energy, we should hang towels on bars to dry. There is not a single towel bar in the bathroom on which to hang towels.
There was nothing to explain how to use the tv..off, on or channel selection.
Once we figured out how to use the big screen tv, we enjoyed the program.
Real nice ice machine just down the hall from our room.
The king size mattress was very comfortable, but pillows were just ok.
Temperature control was easy to adjust...especially welcome when outside temps for several days was 100+ degrees!
We appreciated the friendly employee that checked us in and gave us each a bottle of water... after a very long drive because of road construction, with miles of stop and go vehicles. What should have been a 7 hour drive, turned out to be 9 hours! A friendly smile and a bottle of water was great!
