NO HOSPITALITY
This is a hotel that seems to have forgotten they are in the HOSPITALITY BUSINESS.
The building is charming & in a great location. However, the front desk staff is HORRIBLE,.
The only helpful and friendly person working there seemed to be the maintenance Engineer (who was helpful, & friendly). We arrived at 2pm... and our room was not ready (OK 3pm check-in). We asked if we could drop off our bags. "We don't usually do that" was the response. This was as friendly as it got.
They did offer us a room that suddenly became available ... but one in which the HEAT did not work - we later found out that they knew this AND did not mention it (we ended up wth a space heater in the room)!
This could be a really good hotel... but they need better staff/management ... and we strongly suggest at least one or 2 of the front desk staff take a shower and put on some clean clothes).
This is sad. Untill they get a better team - RUN AWAY!!!
