Dangerous, filthy, rudest staff ever
I checked in to find out the hotel is under complete and I mean complete renovation. I found out from Choice Hotels corporate (I called them because at night our room had no blankets or sheets for the pullout bed, and waited an hour since no one was at the desk and room smelled like marijuana and so did the second floor hallway. Corporate informed me that their GM was supposed to inform Expedia etc that the hotel cannot be inhabited for safety reasons during renovations. Instead we couldn’t use the 1 elevator because it was broken, we couldn’t enter the inner hallways because of construction, so we had to walk outside and lug our suitcases up 3 floors. We were put in a room where the electric sockets didn’t work (I blow dried my hair in the hallway and have a video as proof). The hallways were disgusting, the stairwells blocked by cleaning supplies and ton of bedding. For 2 days dirty bandages, and filth lined the 3rd floor. When I went down at 1:30 am after New Years to tell guy at the desk our room reeked of marijuana, yet no one was at the front desk, I waited an hour for him to show up. Thats when I called corporate since the front doors were open and so were these ones…anyone could have come in and our safety was an issue. I spoke to the female GM because the other GM was in India, and she told me off and told me I would never ever get a refund and cursed me off. Thank god for@ Hotels.com for completely reimbursing me. I’m sharing pics to show the filth.
