We really did love our stay here. The inn is very old and definitely in need of some maintenance and repairs, if you are looking for something modern and updated, this is not the place. If you are looking for old fashioned charm and hospitality, that is what you will find. The room we originally booked in the separate carriage house (Santa Fe) had no cell service/WiFi or heat the first night and the bed was creaky and uncomfortable, but we were moved to a different room in the main house for the rest of our stay which was very cozy. Breakfast was amazing, homemade with wonderful company around the dining room table. We spent a rainy day in the library with other guests sharing stories of life and travels. The owners were wonderful, Lisa even made us some fresh chocolate chip cookies for a late night snack. There is a beautiful walking trail in the old cemetery across the road, walking distance to shops and restaurants on Main Street. I would definitely stay in the main house again if I am ever back in the area.
