Upon arrival, we experienced a significant delay at check-in. While the front desk staff member was polite, he appeared to be working alone, overwhelmed, and facing technical issues. We waited approximately 20 minutes while he assisted other guests, then experienced similar delays during our own check-in. During this time, he was also openly vocal with us about how frustrating and difficult his day had been, which, while understandable, added to the sense of disorganization and lack of professionalism.
When we entered our room, we were immediately met with a strong odor of fresh paint and chemicals. Crumpled painter’s tape was still on the floor, clearly indicating the room had been freshly painted with no effort to ventilate. The smell was overwhelming—we were forced to temporarily leave and had to keep the windows open throughout the night.
Additional issues included:
• The fire alarm had been removed from the room.
• The toilet was not cleaned or functioning properly—we had to manually open the tank to flush it.
This experience was not only uncomfortable but also posed serious safety and cleanliness concerns. I’ve attached photos for your reference and am respectfully requesting a full refund for our stay.
