Housekeeping let you down.
Everything was going so well until I was rudely woken up with the housekeeping staff talking loudly on the corridor early on Sunday morning before 9 a.m. about how much they are overlooked in their jobs and ‘sales mess up all the time and we end up having to clean more than we do’. (It was more profanity then this but I’ve been asked to edit)
They then proceeded to enter my room without knocking whilst there was a DO NOT DISTURB sign on the door! And hoover the hallway!
If I’d had the time to speak to the manager on check out, I would have, but I did not have enough time to catch somebody before my train back home.
I urge the management to address this issue by emphasising the importance of staff members treating guests with respect and consideration. The current behaviour of the housekeeping staff appears to disregard the well-being of the guests in the building, which is unacceptable.
