The staff were responsive to requests although not particularly forthcoming. The rooms have no mosquito nets so you have to use the AC at night. The AC in my room was not working and they checked me into a new room, but then they couldn't find their anti-insect spray to spray in this room.
I wanted to book activities directly with an external tour operator but they said the hotel would not accept this and I had to book at the hotel. However, the resident tour operator at the hotel was doing a very poor job. He wasn't informed about different activity options, and I had to ask him specifically about every single possible activity I was interested in. He didn't come up with any tips and suggestions or activity packages. You almost had to push him to acquire any information.
The wireless reception was bad on the whole premises, the connection was very slow and Internet was down altogether one day.
The hotel is far from everywhere. It is a half-hour steady walk to Livingstone, you have to get a taxi for the falls.
Breakfast is abundant, rich in options and delicious; the kitchen in general is good.
