Gentleman at the front desk was very helpful we arrived early and were able to leave our luggage for 30-40 minutes while we went to Starbucks and when we came back the room was ready, check in with no problems. We asked for some things to do while in SF and he gave us lots of ideas, most of them we managed to accomplish in our short stay. We mentioned we didn't currently have a car but would be picking up a rental car and he said that was fine, parking was free, just to give them the car information when we got back. He mentioned they were fully booked and depending on what time we got back, the parking light might be full, but they had a location 5 minutes walking distance where we could also park. Nice! In the end we came back, parked in the lot of the hotel. The room was large, clean and quite new. Again everything we needed, lots of plug ins, and USB ports for all your gadgets. Beds were comfortable, shower and bath were clean, new and good water pressure. The area the hotel is located in was good, we basically parked the car and walked everywhere. We like walking so we covered a lot of ground in the first day. We walked to dinner at Fisherman's wharf and it's a 30 minute walk to the Alcatraz ferry, which we did the next morning. We would 100% book here again.
