the hotel no longer offered any transportation from the airport, and no longer had breakfast and the taxi driver was most hesitant about leaving us at the hotel because of its location. The place was clean and quiet but seemed to be in the middle of a renovation.
nothing at hotel seemed to match up with the information on the web site .
we felt safe and secure at the hotel, but it did not match up to the web site information.
the room was large and clean, and the bed was comfortable.

I call in advance to make sure they had a shuttle and when I got to Anchoreage and call for the motel to come pick me up, they called back and said the car or van was making a noise. They told me to catch a cab that they would reimburse me. That dint happen!!!

It’s a place to rest
It was a decent place for the money. Was surprised about the amount of homeless people in area but the property felt safe enough. Front desk seemed to be on it about visitors and late night guests. The golden reason this place was chosen is because of the 24 hour airport shuttle. Happy to use the shuttle back and forth. 5 dollars per person.

Sketchy people in hotel. Drug users seen closeby outside. Dirty floors, lobby, shared microwave was filthy.

location was very close to the old down town core... a easy 15 minute (or less) walk from most of the cool spots.
Staff was very friendly and helpful.
The building itself has seen better days, the area immediately around it is in a bit of decay as well. Probably not the best place to stay if you have kids
This is the kinda place you stay at if you are looking for a cheaper crash pad well on a road trip, not a luxury stay.
It a 2 minute walk to the best bar scenes in town... which is just far enough away you don't have to deal with the idiots coming out of the bars, but not so far you can't make it there if you drink to much yourself.
despite all its less then stellar aspects its hard to beat the value this place offers... both in its location, price and functionality.
I would stay here again.

Room was clean, and shower functional. The Japanese restaurant on premises was excellent! Other than that not a great experience. The hallways are dark and seem dirty. The staff peoole were either absent or unhelpful, except the guy who came to fix the bathroom door knob, which was about to fall off when we arrived. The downtown area is depressing. Spend a bit more and stay in a better part of town.

The rooms aren't the best, of course there's only one housekeeper so you have to take that into consideration. Other guests were quiet but there's some yelling outside from locals. Also understand there's a lot of homeless population around the area. But, it was a place to sleep at a very cheap price. You get what you paid for.

This is one of the cheapest stays in Anchorage for a reason. The motel is dirty, grimy and desperately needs to be renovated. I should acknowledge that they had clearly repainted our room recently, as evidenced by the fact that the electrical socket in the bathroom was dangling off the wall and the smoke detector was taped over. The traffic from the insanely busy street outside is so intense that it will keep you up/wake you up at night. When we checked in, their "credit card machine was down" so they told me to use their ATM to take cash out instead. Not their fault, but it certainly added to the very suspicious nature of the whole thing.
