Hip Hop stay in Athens
We stayed three nigths at the Dogpound in February. The hosts are very friendly albeit not always punctual.
On the first morning the person responsible for breakfast arrived late for breakfast service.
Breakfast is limited to 4 choices, everything however is tasty.
Because we stayed in winter and the communal area is open to the street 24/7 the place was cold hence we had to sit with coats while munching our food.
The rooms are generous and have everything you need for a comfy stay.
The only way of heating the rooms is by using the aircon in "reverse". Unfortunately this stopped working on day 2 when the temperatures dropped in Athens.
My room was facing the street and you want to be aware that Greek people can be a noisy bunch at night.
Bring earbuds !
Overall nice stay but I reckon if we come back we would not stay for more than 1 night or go elsewhere.
