Terrible experience and still out of pocket
I booked on hotels.com a one night stay which included breakfast and paid in full at the time of booking.
On arrival at the "hotel" I was informed that breakfast was extra and that my credit card had not gone through. Having just travelled 300 miles to get there, I assumed there had been a problem and stupidly, when asked to pay again, I did so.
Later that evening i did manage to dig out the details of my booking receipt and left these and contact details so the owner could advise when she had confirmed matters with hotels.com. This was over a week ago, and no contact so far from the owner, nor Hotels.com whom I asked to help sort this out.
So ignore the mention of breakfast, ignore the TV in the classic single room pic, it does not work, and ignore the 0121 .......5 number provided. It does not work.
Aside from that, the room itself was clean and quirky in a nice way.
