This hotel I have dubbed the, “little hotel that could”, meaning that it could be a spectacular place if they could overcome the laziness in service.
If you check-in after 4pm, be prepared to do it alone and not get any answers or action from anyone other than yourself. Example: smart TV did not connect to the hotels wifi so if you want to watch any TV, good luck with channels you get on their cable. Bloomberg Europe was all I could understand.
The amount of HAIR, EVERYWHERE, was deplorable. It was clear the housekeeping staff did not bother to vacuum the room for the arrival of new guests. Why bother, huh? There is a shower curtain that was moldy at the bottom so when showering, everytime I touched the shower curtain I cringed. And yes, there were strands of hair dried on the curtain from a previous guest. Air condition unit: what can i say? Is wasn’t working very well so i opened the door to access the filter and you guessed it… the filter looks like it hasn’t been cleaned since the unit was installed. It’s cycling dust everywhere. As for the location… spectacular. The location is a winner and overall the hotel is nicely modernized. It’s just that no one is paying attention to a bunch of details that actually matter!
